Last month I cleaned out my closets and armoire. In the process, I re-discovered this magenta wrap dress/ skirt. I initially found it at an Indian bazaar in Trinidad & Tobago several years ago. (They are one of my preferred sources for Indian garbs, jewellery and home decor). Anyway, as soon as I saw it I adored it for the soft texture, colours, paisley print and versatility. For a long while it was on heavy rotation but I eventually decided to give it a rest. Well, that rest turned into a retirement. Last month when I saw it at the bottom of a drawer, I considered donating it since I hadn’t worn it in forever. However, I wasn’t ready to part ways with the prettiness just yet.
